The prevailing consensus is that Windows 7 will be Vista++, but it may actually be Vista—, as Microsoft confirmed that they would be removing the built-in programs for email, photo editing and movie making.

Late October is the date we will supposedly know what all the Windows 7 fuss is about; attendees of Microsoft's PDC will have a pre-beta version of Windows 7 in their goodies bag.

Another fuss creator this week was the launch of Google Android in the US; Australian telcos remain silent or in the dark about a launch date for the device locally. Should we be paranoid, Android?

Microsoft came out with its "I'm a PC" ads this week, and Apple already had "I'm a MAc" ads, therefore it was only fair that Club Builder created an "I'm a Linux" ad to restore balance.
