in brief Yahoo! has released ASTRA, a free library of Flash components to accompany those already found in the Adobe Flash CSS package.

The library can be installed as an extension in Flash CS3 and components applied to FLA files using drag and drop. Some of the components available are AudioPlayback, Menu and Charts. The source code for these components is also available to download.

Each component comes with documentation as well as practical examples like the Astra Aquarium.
