Some people like reality television like Big Brother or Survivor — I mean the parent company (CBS) thrives on the stuff. Some people like games shows like Wheel of Fortune (my father’s absolute favorite show). I, on the other hand, like The Guild, written, directed, produced, and starring Felicia Day.

If you haven’t seen it and have any firsthand knowledge of the MMORPG game genre, you really should take a few minutes to watch it. Seasons 1 and 2 are on available on the WatchtheGuild Web site, and Season 3 will be available on sponsored sites soon.

To help promote the cause and to give the fans a treat, the cast of The Guild made a music video that was shown exclusively to the attendees of ComicCon 2009 — exclusively until now. The music video, “Do You Wanna Date My Avatar?”, was directed by Jed Whedon and the lyrics were co-written by Day and Whedon.
