Alliant potential recipients of a $50 billion, 10-year IT contract

The Washington Post reported today on a contract that will qualify Alliant (a group of 29 companies) to compete for individual government information technology projects. Alliant includes companies across the government-contracting community, from large defense firms like Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics to mid-tier players like Booz Allen Hamilton and CACI International.According to the Post, the work under the contract could include writing computer software and building computer networks.
