Tell us about CIOs and IT chiefs who make a real difference
silicon.com is kicking off its hunt for the best CIOs in the UK - and we need your help.
Every year silicon.com publishes its CIO50 list, profiling the top 50 IT chiefs working in the UK, as voted for by their peers.
And this year we want you to nominate the CIOs who you think should appear on the 2010 list.
If you know a CIO who you think should make the silicon.com CIO50 list email your nomination to email@example.com no later than Friday 26 February. You can nominate any CIO, IT director or head of IT currently working in the UK for an end-user oganisation, either in the private or public sector.
These nominations will be forwarded to the panel of CIOs who will then vote for the CIO50 on the basis of their leadership ability, delivery and execution record, innovation and influence, and this year's list will be unveiled in June at an exclusive, CIO-only reception.
Last year Catherine Doran, director of corporate development at Network Rail, was voted the UK's most influential technology leader. You can see the full CIO50 2009 list here.
The CIO50 is chosen by votes from the CIOs' peers, including CIOs that have previously appeared on the CIO50 list and members of silicon.com's CIO Jury, plus members of the silicon.com editorial team.
If you are a CIO and would like to join the voting panel email silicon.com's editor Steve Ranger.
