Blog spam is the spawn of the devil

When we show up this morning, an occasionally annoying spammer who had

once or twice tried to use our blog platform to sell crappy imported

bathroom scales, prom dresses, and pearl jewelry had upped the ante,

overwhelming our blogs door with dozens of manually created blogs and

blog posts for his elicit enterprise.

To say the least, we were peeved. As I type this, we're systematically purging the offending blogs, blocking the

offending accounts, and fast-tracking countermeasures from our

engineering team. This guy (and it looks like one guy) is toast.

Of course, it was all we could do not to post the associated e-mail

address in a public forum and let TR community mob justice work its

magic. But that would be wrong. Stupid ethics.
