Comic book, Anime, sci-fi, and cosplay fans from South Florida will be celebrating their favorite fantasy characters this coming weekend. And if you're in the Miami area, you can join them.
Florida Supercon 2010 is being held June 18-20, 2010 at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Convention Center in Miami, FL. According to the promoters website:
"Florida Supercon is a 3-day festival dedicated to Comic Books, Anime, Animation, Video Games, Fantasy and Sci-Fi featuring celebrity guests, comic book creators, voice actors, industry guests, cosplayers, artists, writers, panels, Q&A's, films & shorts, costume & cosplay contests, vendors, parties, anime, workshops, video gaming and more!"
As this photo from last year's event illustrate, a big part of the show is fans donning costumes of their favorite movie, television, or comic book characters. For a whole lot more pics, check out the full gallery, "Cool geek costumes from Florida Supercon 2009."
