If you uncover a questionable fact or debatable aspect of this week's Geek Trivia, just post it in the discussion area of the article. Every week, yours truly will choose the best quibble from our assembled masses and discuss it in a future edition of Geek Trivia. This week's quibble comes from the Jan. 27, 2009 edition of Geek Trivia, "The wrath of comp." TechRepublic member anthony.saggese pointed out a glaring error in the reputed working title for Star Trek II:
"I forwarded this excellent article to a good friend of mine who is a well-known author of multiple Star Trek publications and movie producer. He noted the following: The original title for Wrath of Khan was actually ‘THE VENGEANCE OF KHAN, not REVENGE OF KHAN...ever.' As Spock would say, ‘Fascinating.'"
You are correct, that was a slip-up on my part when I was comparing it to the infamous Revenge of the Jedi decoy title to the third Star Wars film. Thanks for the quibble, and keep them coming!
