Anti-virus software has long been a staple in corporate PCs. This trend continues, with the exception that the majority of businesses in the UK now use anti-spyware scanning software as well. We have no real reason to expect the trend to be different over in the US.

According to the report, the data was obtained using a quantitative telephone survey of 1,007 randomly selected companies in the UK via a structured questionnaire. Interviews took place between October 2007 and January 2008.
