In a recent TechRepublic poll, we asked about the company policies or personal practices in regard to laptop batteries. Here are the results of that poll.
It seems clear from the results that the majority of TechRepublic members with a company-issued laptop do not consider it a necessity to get a spare battery. About 18 percent of those who took the poll get a spare battery on company funds while a mere 10 percent pay for it out of their own pocket.
