ChangeWave Researcher, a Rockville, Maryland-based firm has found that RIM's BlackBerry technology is still tops when it comes to corporate satisfaction. This, despite the fact that annual outages (or shall we say biannual outages) have become the norm rather than the exception. Somewhat unsurprisingly, new kid on the block Apple with its sleek iPhone and game-changing UI has leapfrogged into number one position.
The above figures are of customers who say that they are very satisfied with their current Smartphone. It should be noted that 47% for the RIM BlackBerry represents a net 8% drop from the last survey. Only time will tell if this is only a one-time fluctuation.
According to its Web site, ChangeWave obtains its data from a network of more than 15,000 members, who are experts actively involved in their respective fields such as software, telecom, healthcare, energy and semiconductors.
