Applying computerization to stop snoring

A professor from the Computer Science department at the University of Rostock has applied computerization to combat snoring. Daryoush Bazargani created the device to solve his snoring problem.

The device is attached to a computer that analyzes the noise generated by snoring and alters the size of air compartments (VNUnet) within the pillow to ease nasal airflow. The computer is only the size of a book (Tech Blorge). The device was displayed at a health conference in Germany.

Several U.S. companies have already expressed interest in the device. This is a good sign for people wishing for quieter nights.
