Microsoft will launch its first mobile advertising on Monday, December 10, 2007, on its MSN Mobile portal.
Users will eventually be able to see the mini banner ads optimized according to browser types as well by the screen size of their respective mobile devices when visiting the MSN Mobile portal.
Initial advertisers are Bank of America, Paramount Pictures, and Jaguar, according to CNET News.com Blog.
It is not clear at the moment if advertisers expect users to click through to make a purchase or if they are using it to strengthen their branding.
