100 Network security tools list

If you're looking to expand your arsenal of security tools, Fyodor, the created of the NMap security scanner and owner of Insecure.org, has put together a 2006 list of the top 100 network security tools—as ranked by users from his nmap-hackers mailing list. Nessus took the top slot, followed by Wireshark (formerly known as Ethereal), Snort, Netcat, and Metasploit Framework.
