Google Limits Info About Searchers - FINALLY! But is it enough?

Many savvy security managers have been warning companies for years that anything they look up on Google may be tracked by someone somewhere.

That is obviously a serious security concern and Google has finally addressed the threat by saying they will begin obscuring search data but only after 18 to 24 months!

I don't know about you, but when I am researching any sensitive subject I don't want to be linked to that search for up to two years!

Sorry Google, too little; too late!

I have a much simpler solution.

Use Clusty.com, a superior search engine (give it a try) which has never collected or stored any more information about visitors or their searches than is absolutely necessary to conduct the search.

Check out their Privacy Policy. http://clusty.com/privacy

By the way, although it looks simple, the “clustering” technology is so advanced that Vivisimo, the company behind Clusty.com has the contract for all the federal government’s public searches (FirstGov.)
