Even the best of us can lose an object or two in PowerPoint. Sometimes, you purposely stack objects to hide something. Other times, objects are just small and hard to find. When an object seems to have gone astray, you can quickly find it by first pressing Esc to make sure nothing is currently selected. Then, press Tab repeatedly to cycle the selection through all the objects on the slide. Just watch until the selection exposes the object that’s missing. This tip works well for hard-to-select items too — you might know exactly where it is but have trouble clicking it.
