Business needs, above many things, good management. And management needs good tools. The tools used for good management come in the form of CRM, HRM, and CMS tools. Achievo is one such tool. By using the Web-based resource management tools, your company's business processes will be efficient and organized.
- Web server such as Apache (preferred) or IIS
- PHP running as a module for the Web server
- ATK framework
- ATK 6 needs minimal PHP Version 5.1.3 to run
- A database server (currently only MySQL, PostGreSQL and Oracle are supported by the DB abstraction layer)
- Additional product information from the vendor

Who's it for?
Achievo is a resource management tool for any size SMB who wants to focus on using their tools, not administrating their tools. With a simple interface that requires little to no learning curve, Achievo can be up and managing in no time.
What problem does it solve?
Achievo allows a company (small to large) to get an outstanding management tool up and running quickly and easily. And because it is open source, the cost will not break the company IT budget. The interface is easy to learn, so your employees will not be pulling out their hair trying to learn the tools.
- Easy to install
- Over twenty languages
- Simple interface
- Project management included
- Time registration included
- Full set of CRM and HRM tools
- Shared calendars (scheduler)
One of the biggest hurdles to adoption for Achievo is the lack of Outlook support. Although not such an easy feat, if Achievo could manage to integrate their tool with Microsoft Outlook, their application would reach new levels of success. Without Outlook integration, companies will certainly hesitate to adopt. The lack of reporting is also an issue that will cause companies to overlook this tool.
Bottom line for business
If you are looking for a free, open source CRM/HRM tool and do not need Outlook integration or built-in reporting tools, Acheivo is the tool for you. Otherwise, several of the competing products might be a better choice.
