Apps of the month (August 2011): Cisco Technical Support, Spiceworks, and more

In Scott Lowe's latest app roundup, he features five business-focused mobile applications: Cisco Technical Support, Spiceworks, Gantt Pro, Package Tracker Pro, and Invoice2go Lite.

This month, I've come across five useful business apps for iOS and Android devices that just might fit the bill in meeting some of your challenges.

Cisco Technical Support (available for iOS)

How many of you are using Cisco to power your network? If so, consider adding Cisco's Technical Support app to your mobile device. Available for both iPhones and iPads, this free app provides you with access to technical support discussion threads, top contributor leader boards, and technical support YouTube videos, among other items.

I can see an app like this being particularly useful as a "commuter app."  When you're on the train, metro, or bus, catch up on what's happening in Cisco tech support land.

In Figure A below, you'll see the home screen of the Cisco Technical Support app.  In Figure B, you're provided with a list of some of the communities that are available in the app. Figure A
