We're bringing back a post that encourages TechRepublic community participation — and that's our camera phone challenge, which originally appeared in the former TechRepublic Out Loud blog.
Let's face it, there are so many smartphones and even ordinary cell phones out there that have pretty decent camera capability. People also tend to carry their phones wherever they go, unlike their stand-alone cameras, and this opens up the opportunity to grab and click moments that aren't ordinarily captured. That is the topic of this camera phone challenge — impromptu snapshots that you might not see (or even believe) if it wasn't for your camera phone. You have from now until Friday, October 14, 2011 at 5:00 PM EDT to submit your entries. Please send the original photos, along with information about what phone you used (and the model number), a little bit about the photo you're submitting (optional), and your TR username to trol at techrepublic.com.
The TechRepublic editorial staff will select their three favorite photos from all the entries, and the TechRepublic members who submitted those photos will receive some free swag!
