Microsoft recently opened the Windows Azure Marketplace DataMarket, which makes it possible to buy and sell data services pretty easily. On the one hand, I think this is a good development; it's nice to know that I can think of a service to provide and not have to worry about the coding, billing, and so on for it. On the other hand, there aren't many items on there right now, and similar projects in the past have been a failure. And, of course, there is the persistent industry distrust of Microsoft.
Would you consider using the Windows Azure Marketplace DataMarket as a seller, a buyer, or both?
