Just as a quick heads-up, I will be doing a presentation on the Parallel Extensions Library for .NET on November 12th for the Columbia Enterprise Developer's Guild (CEDG). If you are interested in learning more about writing code that uses asynchronous or parallel processing in .NET, you'll definitely want to attend. And, of course, it would be great to meet some of the readers out there! The meetings open at Midlands Tech's Northeast Campus; the food starts at 6:00 PM; and the presenter begins talking around 6:45 or 7:00.
The CEDG is a very cool group; I went to my second event this week, and I learned a ton of interesting things about mobile development from a very good presenter. There are always lots of neat prizes, and you get to meet your peers in the area.
Hope to see you there!
