3DFX card identification

By Oz_Media ·
I have a customers computer in dire need of a reformat. I don't want to wipe it until I find the correct drivers to restore it, note PC has dead hard drive that I will be replacing.

There is a 3DFX card installed, but no indication of Voddo 2,3,5 or anything.

The card does not reqie it's own power supply.

3DFX USED to have pictures of all their cards for easy ID, no more 3DFX means I need to find a diagram or something to ID the card by.

It appears to have 8 chips but there are no real identifying numbers I can see other than the chip ID's.

Any suggestions or links to where I can find info is greatly appreciated!

By the way, the link provided in the comments is to an index of links, and once connected to any of them, you'll have to scroll down for the pictures of each card. (picture follows specs.)

Thanks Max, the site atcually didn't give me enough info to ID the card, this card's chipset # wasn't listed.

The site DID give me an idea as to which numbers were the chipset identifiers. A little digging elsewhere and I found someonne with the same card and problem. They indicated which answer worked so I THINK I' have the right drivers now.

You finally posted a link that I wanted to see ;-)
