Access C$ on vista from xp on a domain

By millerr ·
We are testing our first Vista computer. It is in a domain. I have diabled the firewall, enabled file and printer sharing (through network prop), enabled network discovery, uninstalled Symantec, turned off user control, and used the reg hack. I still cannot see the hidden shares from XP. I can however see the hidden shares on XP from Vista. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Admin rights?

Do you have admin rights on the Vista PC?
I have a Vista PC setup in my domain and can connect to the admin shares no problem.
I don't remember doing anything in particular to enable that which is listed in the items you have already done.
