Ad-Aware problems

By jdpowers41 ·
I have been using the free program Ad-Aware to remove my spyware for a long time. A couple of weeks ago it suddenly stopped opening for me, told me it is being used by another user, that i am unable to use it.
I have tried dumping/deleting the program and reloading it without any sucess. Am I the only one having this problem with it? I have run my Spybot and Avast programs to see if there are any viruses in my system, and they say its clean. Any suggestions?

Try them all in Safe Mode......

Try booting into Safe Mode and running Ad-Aware, even uninstalling if you think you need to. While you're there, run full scans with SpyBot and Avast. Clean scans or not, you have symptoms of infection.

Try also downloading & Installing Malware Bytes

If you are unable to download it with the Default Name or Install it to the Default Folder you most defiantly have an Infection of some kind.

If you are unable to down;load it rename the Download to something different and when it comes to installing it chose a different Name to install it as.

Then run all Scans in Safe Mode.
