'Address' suddenly on Win XP Task Bar

By mikejkemp ·
Can anyone help? I turned on my PC this morning and noticed that the word Address has appeared on the Windows Task Bar. It is on the Right Hand side adjacent to the battery state indicator. It appears a bit like the EN of the language indicator (before I turned it off). The only recent change to my system has been the removal and re-installation of Lotus Symphony Beta 2 last night.
Have I picked up an 'infection' that my protection has missed?

Don't worry - you can just remove it . . .

Right click on any empty part of your taskbar - a pop-up menu will appear.

Hover your pointer on 'Toolbars' at the top, a dialogue box will appear, and you untick the 'Address' entry.

Thanks for your reply: I just realised what it is and came back to sheepishly remove my question - but you spotted it first. I so rarely mess about with the toolbar, except look at it, that I forgot what I was looking at - if I had dragged that bit of the toolbar to the left I would have seen the address field waiting for me to put something in it. That's my credibility blown! (
