In the first week of our Technology Takedown, we pit the Father of Modern Computer Science against the Prophet of the Computer Age. What are your thoughts?

Not to diminish in any way the brilliancy and breakthrough of Alan Turing, but in my humble opinion it was Ada Lovelace who paved his way, her algorithm for the Analytical Engine to calculate a sequence of Bernoulli numbers may very well be the first computer code, so perhaps for her insights at the Victorian age she should win this Takedown (and now I await the wrath of Benedict Cumberbatch fans:)
