Annoying compaq case, PLEASE help! :)

By supz ·
Ok I will make a REALLY long story short. This computer I am working on is an older, probably about 600 MHZ Compaq Presario desktop. I have done some "intense troubleshooting" on the HDD and I have deemed that the HDD is dead. I need to get inside the machine, however this "darn" machine is sealed with 'rivet' style bolts. does ANYONE know how to extract these w/o doing any of the following...

1. hitting it with a hammer damaging the case
2. taking it to my computer guy and say "here, you do it"
or 3. trying to prod an object underneath the case...it wont work.

if anyone can help me I will reward you somehow.
HERE ARE 2 PICTURES OF THE RIVETS...

in these pictures you can see the rivets lining the case on the way down.
thank you so much

In regards to reward or answer I am also available on AIM at "Ox8" even if I am mobile.
Thank you again

Oops, I should have said the shell slides out from the front of the case instead of the back.

I agree the screw in the middle of case at bottom and two screwa at top of case will release the case, whereas the case will slide foward as one piece to get inside
