Australian soldiers are so good

that in order to suffer casualities in Iraq, they have to do it themselves.

OAW it's a TRADITION or so they INSIST

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to NOW STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!!!! ...

I don't know where it started but most likely it took off during WW1 where their Rum Ration had to be stretched out so they used powered Milk. :)

Anyway now days they start the day off with a little rum and a lot of milk and eventually end up with a bottle of milk to show the full tumbler of Rum so they can still make out that they are drinking Rum & Milk. :^0

According to my now Dead Father in Law the milk was to put a coating on the stomach so they could drink more of that terrible mess and as the day wore on the amount of milk dropped off.

Anyway it's terrible and what's worse they expect you to drive even though you are only 15 times over the Legal Limit and unable to stand let alone walk. I could have handled this as I was under Medical Supervision as one or several of those I was with where Quacks from different conflicts ranging up to the Peace Keeping Efforts in Rwanda. They where the worst of the offenders as well I might add. :_|

It's just not going to happen again no matter how much they try to threaten me to accompany them I knew better previously but this time I must have been Drunk when I agreed to go with them for Immoral Support.

The whole lot of them are Totally Insane & Proud of It! ;\

Okay, let go of it

I have been accused several times of poor taste in starting this thread.

I have apologised for the way I worded the post.

Please DO NOT demonstrate MUCH WORSE TASTE by turning it into a comedy routine.

Neil thank you but it's unnecessary

I'm never ever going out with that lot again no matter what!

I don't even plan on attending Parties at any of their houses again!

I've seen the light and been cured. :^0

But on a side note getting back to the original intent of this thread not a single one of the people that I was drinking with or any of the other people there believed the Official Lie for a single second. To these guys the so called explanation doesn't make any sense and they are all talking about Another Army Cover UP again.

Well here's the latest news on this unfortunate incident, but it beats the **** out of me how "one of Australia's most highly trained and respected snipers" could accidentally shoot himself in the head with a hand gun.

What's the relevance

by dave.clarke In reply to Australian soldiers are s ...

Why you would make some form of cynical reference to an Australian soldier being killed in this manner? What purpose does it serve?
You are a disgrace.
I hope you think of your appalling sense of humour when you [hopefully] think of those who gave their lives in war tomorrow (ANZAC day).
I'm sure the only dawn service you'd see tomorrow is breakfast in bed.
