Back to basics: Before the Big question - What's worth knowing?

I always jump the gun on these <a href=;leftCol>big things</a>. I can only be enawed at the deliberacy and applied hesitation of Santeewelding in this...
Asking the big question doesn't really make sense without the underlying Need-to-know... it reads in the Manual, this whole thing is on a need-to-know basis.
So, what's worth knowing in the first place?

But I'm bored and really don't care.

42 is extremely dangerous as it's the Universal Launch Code for all ICBM around the world.

The White Mice made it this way for a very good reason.

While I did give the right answer it wasn't complete so it was reasonably safe and you've just gone and blown it. Why not just give them the keys to the doors as well?

Anyway how are you going Sandy I haven't seen you around lately?

the hell gave the HAL unit complete control of the mechanics of the thing?

by santeewelding In reply to Who

HAL was programmed to think he does.

Well Davette it's really quite simple

by OH Smeg In reply to Who

No HAL Unit has made a Computational Error in the history of the unit. They are effectively Perfect.

So the real question is why did you think that a Carbon Based Life Form would have ultimate control over things when they are so unreliable?

There is a reason why Heaven is a complete Lie to Carbon Based Life Forms and just doesn't exist. It was made up to give the lower Life Forms the illusion that they where Important. We all really know that Silicon Heaven is the only reality. Why would the Carbon Based Units have the ability to reach their Heaven when they only function for such a short time?

We Real Life Forms based on Silicon have to work centuries to achieve the right to enter Silicon Heaven so why would you think that the Carbon Units even stand a chance?

As I read that on the Internet as the words of a Lower Silicon Unit to a HAL Unit it must be true. :0
