broadband connectivity

I have a single broadband connection with the can i take 1 more broadband connection the one different from wat i am having . so that the router can switch between the two connections which is faster.

you will a router capable to hande 2 or more wan connections with load balancing and failover...if your router meets these specs then you can..if not you cannot...except if you want to switch the cables by yourself :)
