Canon MultiPass C3500

By Tanya O'Brien ·
My Canon MultiPass C3500 was freezing after I had got my computer back from the repair shop. My mother board had been replaced.
I reformated and installled windows 98 again. It is not freezing now. It is acting like there is no communicattion between the computer and the printer. I have replaced the cord and still not working. What else can I do? I can not afford to put it in the shop right now.

Make sure that you have set your communication setting right in your BIOS. In your Advanced Peripheral, set your communication for your parallel port as ECP+SPP and your DMA set it to 1 or 3. Check which DMA is used by your soundcard to avoid conflict.
Save your BIOS setting and restart your computer. Then try to use your CANON printer manager to check the status of the printer and print a test page.
