Capture a WIM file from VirtualBox

By mike ·
I have built my flavour of Win7x86 machine in VirtualBox - I want to sysprep and capture a WIM file from this VM for later deployment - does anyone know how to do this WITHOUT using MDT Deployment Workbench ? I cannot find a way to boot into the PE environment? - (maybe silly me !) as you would on a hardware machine to do this task..

What about converting vm to iso first?

You can follow the exact instructions or general principles here:

"I cannot find a way to boot into the PE environment"

Create a bootable PE and load the ISO to a VM. If you want this in the 7 image, you have to install the necessary PE tools to that image (e.g., the WAIK, for one).
