It would help to know what you want to have the command button do, but all you have to do is create the button. Then, as I said, it depends on what you want it to do.

For example, you can record a macro, creating a process on another sheet, and just assign it to that button. You can also create a function of sorts, and just use the sheet1! reference, to name the sheet with the cell. Etc.

If this is not enough info, can you please give us more? IE, what version are you running, what do you want the button to do, etc.

Hyperlink button on a front page to another page in excell

In your control tool box choose 'Command Button' and then draw the button to the desired dimensions and place it in the desired position in your page.

Next right click on it and choose 'Commandbutton Object' and then 'Edit'. Give your button a name or whatever text you want on it.

Next (make sure you still have the button selected)choose 'Insert' from the worksheet menu bar and then choose 'Hyperlink'. A box will open and from the list on the left beneath "Link To" choose 'Place in this Document'. A list of the other sheets in your work book will appear in the middle of the box, choose the sheet you want to link to and then choose 'OK'.

You now have a functioning hyperlinked button!
