Could password resets become a thing of the past?

I have been doing a series of articles on various help desk software options, and I came across this one that I think is unique. Believe me, I have used and I have seen plenty of them. What I am asking is, what if help desks no longer had to do password resets. How would this change your IT department. Do you think you would be out of a job? Here's my article:
