Create a Folder in Client's PC Remotely, using Group Policy

By ·
Hi all,

Is there a way, of creating a folder in all the client's pc which is in the domain using the group policy?

For example, I want all the clients to have a folder call XYZ and it has a full sharing capabilities. Instead of me doing it one by one, can I just implement it remotely using the group policy?

Your help is much appreciated. Thank you!

You'll have to create a startup or shutdown script to do this. You can then assign the script using a GPO

Thank you for the FAST reply. I am very new to this and will appreciate if you could give some sample script on how to go about it.

p/s: This script shall cater for both file creation and sharing?
