DHCP Client

sales guyz are using laptops so we assign them DHCP but whenever they are away from network they got error box stating ``DHCP can`t find IP address if u want to see this error message again press yes or no`` i know they got error as they are no morepart of network & even if they press no it pop up again at next log on . How i can get rid of this error -i need to write any``on line-off-line``script or what i should do ...

There is no easy answer if your sales people are not at least a little bit computer literate. If they can't remove a PCMCIA card, then they're not going to be part of your solution. I would relook your network setup. Adjust your DHCP scope to accomodate your desktop environment and clear up an IP range that the laptops can use as static IPs. You may not like that solution, but it may end up being the most trouble free.

Create 2 hardware profiles. One for the office with Network enab;ed and one for Out of Office and disable network Option. Have them use Network profile when in office and Out of Office profile when out of office. Since network options are turned of using the Out of Office profile they will not get DHCP error message.
