cost to develop a mobile app

by pshenychkavlad In reply to Do you think spending too ...

The cost of an app development is completely based on the requirements and functionalities you want to implement.
Few factors deciding the cost of an App development and they are,
-In-House vs. Offshore Development Teams
-Agile vs. Waterfall Development
-Fixed Fees vs. Billing
-Budgeting for Contingencies
-App Development Company
-Freelance Developers
-Buying a Template
I would suggest you to take a look at https://artjoker.net/blog/how-much-does-it-cost-to-develop-a-mobile-app/ if you need more information on this.

Yes, it is worth and this is why

The statistics show that 42% of small business have a mobile app and 23% - plan to create it ( Source: https://clutch.co/app-developers/resources/small-business-apps-survey-2018 ). So, start with analyzing your business niche and if your competitors have a mobile app, you definitely should have it too to compete with them. Otherwise, if they don't you can use your app to stand out among them. In both cases, it's worth to think about app development and spend money on it.

Moreover, you can build an MVP with basic features at an early stage and then publish it only on one platform. I've read somewhere that ios app development is cheaper than Android.

More information about app development cost you can find in this research - https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/how-much-does-it-cost-to-create-an-app

Also, you should analyze your customers (their demand, behavior etc.) and set goals that you want to reach at this moment. It could be more installs, more customers (revenue). And on the next stage, you can go turn to additional investment in more features and start to grow.

Hope it will help you!

There are plenty of applications that require no more than 3$ per month. It's not so expensive if it's your needs.
