dual boot with windows and linux

By stugra65 ·
If i install XP on one disk, and Linux with firefox for internet browsing on another, is there a quick way of booting into the 'internet mode' in user mode without rebooting into the Linux partition?

Wait? You want to run Linux and Windows, but not have to reboot to instansiate the other OS? Right?

So you want VMWare. That should do what you want.

You could also install Cygwin in Windows, but you would have to use Lynx to surf or you could just bag Windows and use Linux.

NO, you must reboot into the LINUX system to use FF. Otherwise you could run both, one in virtue mode(background)and the other inuse and do a hot switch. The trick is to set up two systems in one box and write a driver to switch, believe me I did it and its not for the faint of heart. Good luck
