Hi

Try running system file checker (sfc.exe). This is command line utility that will check your core system files when the computer is rebooted. Any corrupt or missing files are normally replaced with good ones from a folder on the local hard drive.

Allowing this utility to run may stop your persistent message from appearing. Look it up in Help for the full command syntax.

Otherwise, is there a program running via task scheduler that is causing these problems? Also, do you have the latest service pack (4) applied?

Good luck
