FireFox - open only one tab please

By jimmy-jam ·
Question - I have FireFox setup that when I launch it, it open 4 tabs and opens 4 different sites. If I open up a new window it always opens up these 4 tabs.

Is there a way to have a new window up with only one tab? Occasionally I like to open up a new instance of FF to keep certain tasks separate. I can always close my unwanted tabs but...

:ar!

1 I'd set FF to open a blank page on startup, and click the Home button on the first instance.

2 I believe that in FF, to have multiple home page tabs, you'd select "Use Bookmark", but have the bookmark be a group of tabs (bookmark the group you wish to use as your home pages). In SeaMonkey, and IE I believe, you have a text box that you can just add addresses to.

Check out the other suggestion above
