RSS Screensaver

by flypig In reply to Flypigs Musings

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I wanted a RSS Screenscaver like Mac has for Windows. Accenture has a screen saver doing just that here. However, it uses .Net, so it will suck memory I fear. Better to roll your own using Axialis.
Funny thing is, Accenture doesnt seem to have an RSS feed of their own site.</div><p><div class="blogdisclaim"><a href="http://mypigsty.blogspot.com/2005/07/rss-screensaver.html">This post originally appeared on an external website</a></div>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Cornice has 4Gb 1inch drives suitable for portable devices. They call them Storage Elements. Call them what you like, they are going to let you carry much more data with you. I wonder how soon we are going to see Veritas, Arcserve and others with software to back up your cell phone or pda. TechOnline has an article on these new drives.</div><p><div class="blogdisclaim"><a href="http://mypigsty.blogspot.com/2005/07/teeny-weeny-itsy-bitsy.html">This post originally appeared on an external website</a></div>

Low flying planes

by flypig In reply to Flypigs Musings

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Since the day the city got flooded, I have been suffering from low flying planes overhead. Since the airport is not yet fully functional again, the flight path has changed. Now the planes disturb me day and night. This morning I decided to log the frequency. Its bad. Its loud.
