Wallpaper

by flypig In reply to Flypigs Musings

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">People at office are upset about my new wallpaper. I explain that I took this photo early in the morning when I was still sleepy but hungry, but they feel it is not 'right ' for office. Wonder why? I would think this image makes you think of health and nourishment.

They seem to think otherwise.

Well thats their opinion, I like having a couple of eggs for breakfast. </div><p><div class="blogdisclaim"><a href="http://mypigsty.blogspot.com/2005/10/wallpaper.html">This post originally appeared on an external website</a></div>

by flypig In reply to Flypigs Musings

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">This is insane. Watch out for the black helicopters too. Read the Win95 kiddy porn article here. People are really weird, can see evil in just anything.</div><p><div class="blogdisclaim"><a href="http://mypigsty.blogspot.com/2005/10/child-porn-in-windows-95.html">This post originally appeared on an external website</a></div>

Flock

by flypig In reply to Flypigs Musings

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Been waiting for Flock and now theres a Developers Preview out. I wonder how this will workout. One has to give it your del.iso.us password, your blog password and possibly your flickr password. Soon someone will have privacy concerns. Blogging right now through Flock. There is a little button "TOPBAR" in the right corner of the blog tool. It rather nicely hung flock, so I will not mess with it</div><p><div class="blogdisclaim"><a href="http://mypigsty.blogspot.com/2005/10/flock.html">This post originally appeared on an external website</a></div>

Odd utitlity

by flypig In reply to Flypigs Musings

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Well maybe its not just odd. Maybe its actually a must. <a href="http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/eulalyzer.html" target="_blank" title="I Agree">EULAlyser</a> goes through EULA (the page with "<font size="3">I Agree</font>" at the end of it) and analyses it.<br />
<blockquote>EULAlyzer can analyze license agreements in seconds, and provide a detailed listing of potentially interesting words and phrases. Discover if the software you're about to install displays pop-up ads, transmits personally identifiable information, uses unique identifiers to track you, or much much more.</blockquote>
<br />Actually it may be quite nice to have.<br />

USB Flash Drive performance

by flypig In reply to Flypigs Musings

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I always thought that USB flash drives were all created equal. Except for looks (and of cource avoid the rotten fakes).
An article on Anandtech has changed this perception. Apparently there are speed differences, and that too drives that read fast may not write fast. File sizes also seem to make a difference. Read Anandtech USB Flash Drive Roundup, summary page , if you are in a hurryhere.</div><p><div class="blogdisclaim"><a href="http://mypigsty.blogspot.com/2005/10/usb-flash-drive-performance.html">This post originally appeared on an external website</a></div>
