Google Chrome privacy problems

I use Google Chrome browser and one day I became totally tired of the point that it collects all my data. I'm especially worrying because I do many payments online I want to be secured. I googled how to stop Chrome tracking me and switched that point off. Anyway it continues to send me some ads according to my searches. So what is the point of turning off tracking if it still collects my data? I just want to be private on the net.. What should I do more in order to be safe?

All these big companies only promise that they provide us with a total privacy when they don't. You can try to use another browser called Tor. It's quite private and hides your IP address and doesn't save you history. Maybe you'll like it.
