Google Docs - Spell Check Not Working
I bought an Acer Chromebook - Acer314 a little while ago and have been really enjoying it. I will be going to College soon and Docs has been working fine until recently. The spell check has stopped working, its really frustrating and I hope someone can help.
- Everything is ticked in in the spelling and grammar section of the doc.
- It is a brand new document created from the docs home page.
- I am using Google Chrome browser.
- I have selected english as the language.
- I have cleared the cache and reset the chrome browser.
I have also had the problem when using another computer and logged into my google account and using docs.
What I have noticed that when typing nonsense with spaces in between eg. "Sdfds sdfdsf gjfjejej enenmenfd akaks a eefojefej" the words are underlined in red briefly as if to say incorrect spelling but as the document autosaves to the cloud the lines then dissapear. I have also selected the entire document and clicked the spelling and grammar check tool and it simply says "document looks good"
Please can you help me to fix this problem or offer some advise about perhaps using an add-on which will work?
