Google Flip anyone use it and what do you think of it?

I've used Google flip for a bit now and actually like the concept. See an article on a site or magazine, then click to it to read.

Like goint to a news stand.

What I find lacking is a broad range of sites in specific categories. For SciFi/Tech, you get InformationWeek, Reuters, Bloomberg,AdWorld,PC World, BBC World, PC Mag, Mashable, iPhone Central, MacWorld, Christian Science Monitor, Washington Post,

but suspiciously absent are : TechRepublic, CNet, Network World, WindowsITPro, Infoworld, Computerworld, and specific tech related sites like SharepointPro,,and even Overclockers and Tom's Hardware.

If Google would license fast flip, be a great way to expose site visitors to all that's available without having to search.

Well, I just looked at it.

Offhand, I'd have to say it takes up way too much visual space for the amount of information delivered. I'd rather see a list of links, I believe.

I was rather amused to see one flippit with "page not found" displayed.

Interesting idea, though.
