If they're brand new computers the cables can become loose in shipping. Open every new computer and check the connections on every power and signal connection. This happens all the time and it won't be a problem until the customer moves the computer when you're not around.

Check the power wiring. Get one of the electric checkers that show if the power lines are reversed AND if the ground is good.

You can rent power monitors that will print out fluctuations in voltage and current if this gets worse. Brownouts can cause this problem (Can you spell coffee pot or microwave oven?).

Check with the hard drive manufacturer. Send them an email complaining about your lack of satisfaction with their hard drives. If someone else is experiencing the same problem it could be a manufacturer error.

Use a professional hard drive utility to thoroughly check out the hard drive. Not the utilities that come with Windows, they're not good enough to find some problems.

The last option might be a virus. Sing loy.

What kind of crash are you having, just a wipeout of data, or the infamous clunk-clunk. Were the machines purchased around the same time, as I have seen many instances where a bad batch of computers went out, and eventually we had to replace failing components in entire batch. IE Compaq's failing Bigfoot drives, or IBM's faining cache on the 300GL's. Contact the place you purchased them from if they were all purchased at same time, and see if there is a recall on the hdd's. You may get themall exchanged before you run into problems with the others.
