Even better

by neilb@uk In reply to Geekend it is

UKTV Gold are showing all of the last Doctor Who series back-to-back. I'm watching "The Doctor Dances", the one in war-time London, as I type.

Seriously good geeky stuff and another three episodes to go after this one!

Superb quote: "life is easy - a quirk of matter. Life is just Nature's way of keeping meat fresh!"

Daleks Rule! Stavros would have turned Kirk inside out.

I didn't see a hamster on a wheel anywhere! Oh, maybe this isn't an Intel-based machine. Never mind.

You're the technician, Hawk. What do I know? 'looks like I'd better stick to exploring TR to learn about 'puters, huh? ROFL

Not really edited..LOL...'Just wanted to show you that if I don't edit I miss things like hitting shift when I start a new sentence. That baby L looks sad up there!

that I have to admit my ignorance to your reference and rent Dr. Who...right? So much to learn! :)

NO!!!!!!

by Jaqui In reply to This means

you have to watch the original BBC TV series to find out about Dr Who, anything less is sacriledge and gets the death penalty.

The death penalty?

by oneamazingwriter In reply to NO!!!!!!

I get a choice between having jd chase me down with a chocolate bar (another thread) and the death penalty because I don't watch TV. Such confusion. Which one is worse? What's a girl to do?
I know. 1-Click always has the answer!

yup..

by Jaqui In reply to The death penalty?

since the movies don't show the Dr off right, you need the tv series.
snagging a copy of the movie from a video store will not give you the insight to the comments from Neil.

to have done so.....

by dawgit In reply to NO!!!!!!

To have watched the original BBC series, ON BBC, that would indeed be dating one-self. It was a good show BTW, and those were very interesting times.
