Question

How do you protect your data from being used against you?

By stewofkc ·
How do you keep websites, businesses etc from using data profiles against you to charge you more? What do you do to protect your data online.

I read this article and wanted to know how to protect myself from price gouging, etc: https://choosetoencrypt.com/privacy/what-are-digital-doppelgangers-and-how-companies-use-them/

There is only one thing I do - I strictly do not enter any personal information on unknown websites and do not take any surveys asking to provide personal information because I know the entered data might be used against me in the future.
