How likely is it that you will use mobile for CAD drawing management?

By annmarie.reynolds ·
eQuorum offers CAD drawing management for mobile. You can access drawings from anywhere, anytime, without an app. All you need is a browser. Questions is...How likely is it that you would use it? How would you use it?

I know you would probably think to use it on a project site, but what about home or if you need to approve a change from vacation in Fiji? Does having the mobile option make it easier or do you still prefer the rolls of paper?

I look forward to your feedback.

I am just gonna take my laptop with me, or use some program like team viewer.

If you are just Consuming Data then it may work OK though with the small screen sizes on Phones I would question just how detailed the drawings may be particularly if there are complicated images that need signing off on.

As I take responsibility for what I do when I sign off on a change or whatever I need to be able to clearly see it and understand what it is they are trying to fix/improve or whatever by making any changes and also as It’s my neck on the line I’m the one who gets their but kicked if I can not properly understand the image for whatever reason. Personally When Mobile I don’t use anything under a 17 inch NB to look at things on But then again I work with Complicated CAD Images and there is lots of money involved if I mess up.
