Every goth girl I have “met” is oddly open to experimentation.

Catch them later in life.

After experimentation has become fetish. That early sense of experimentation is generally due to a need for acceptance. The weak minded can be talked into anything. It’s later, when they realize what was actually fun that it gets better. 😉

I grew up that’s all
by aidemzo_adanac · about 11 years ago
In reply to Whats wrong with Goth?
Well anyone who knows me wouldn’t say I grew up but I outgrew teen trends a long time ago. The thing that kills me about Goth is how the attitude is an oxymoron, just like punk, metal etc.
Goth is all about being unique, not following trends, doing your own thing etc. However, you must wear the “goth uniform” in order to show that you don’t follow trends etc.
Same thing when I was in the UK and the punk scene became the cool thing. It was all about disestablishmentarianism being individual, not following the party line, not cow-towing to peer pressure to be a conformist. Yet you need to dress a certain way, act a certain way, listen to certain music etc. In fact, being PUNK is an establishment in itself, like being Goth.,
How can you propose to be unique when every other teen who wants to be unique follows suit?
Not understanding that is what makes Goth or punks etc just laughable.
I’ve no problem with people standing out for the music they listen to, the dress trends they follow etc, just don’t do so and pretend that you are being unique by doing it.
They all grow up to be individuals and have a unique identity in the end. It’s just that time in youth where people are so lost they think they need to stand out and be different, by being the same, that cracks me up.
As for the Womans, (sorry a little Monty Pythons leaked again) everyone had a bite, but few got anywhere with it besides the Caledonians and the Picts.
I was almost born a Woman too (LOL!) , born on the isle of Vectis and used Woman made stairs that were carved into the chalk cliffs to get to the beach, thankfully by then it was British again, Womans twied, Germans tried but nobody managed to hold Vectis.

My inflate-a-mate has too many patches now, I was hoping it would be a life sized prostitute. Oh well, more duct tape and a good quality box of wine again, I suppose it’ll do.
